   WHEN PRISON VANS COLLIDE

So a good bunch of Keiths turned up at Prebbleton Domain to play the 'Dinosaurs'. Unfortunately, they treated it a bit more like a semi-final than we did and the score line of us going down 7 tries to 1 reflected that. Turnover and other handling errors were compounded by the ferocious wind, but like the Keiths we are, we had a few beers and a feed then went into town to see keasty.

Lovely Jubbly. Ex Sumner Shark Boydy was the Player of the Day and to celebrate, came up with some new fangled gang sign we all have to now use when secretly meeting out the back of the railway station.

PRE-SEASON VS BOLLOCKS DONE AND DRUNK

On a stonking hot afternoon, a bunch of semi fat Old Coves and semi fit New Boys lurched onto Bob Deans Fields and kicked off the 2011 campaign.

It started well with a full changing shed (which is not the norm) and continued to be well right up until the final whistle. Passing and handling skills were good and lineouts were well formed. Unfortunately golden oldie scrums didn't give us a chance to see how the scrums would have held up but the general forward play was good.
Not that scores were kept, we headed off the challenge from the Bollocks 5 tries to 3 and A.J. snaffled the Player of the Day.

Keith vs Linwood B - 28th March 2009

No team details are recorded for pre-season games.

A stinking hot day with the ground as hard as concrete. And, only 15 boys on the sideline. What's going on fellas?

As usual, the Bollocks took it to us at a cracking pace and scored in the first few seconds, but with Bravo on the wing, we brought it back to them. New Boys in the backline made for some interesting positional changes on a frequency previously unheard of, but the New Boys in the forwards proved a lot more solid.

Linwood managed a win by a one try margin, but the beers in the club afterwards was still cold and still free (thanks Digby).
