But I can happily announce this season Tour Champions.

The Ashes.
Were held by Freddy and H, but with the non appearance of H, Piez stepped up and partnered Freddy in the final.
Believe it or not, but Johnno managed to sink the black which stunned his partner and everyone else there. So Dirk and Johnno played in the final against Freddy and Piez and the holders retained their grasp on the trophy (broken as it was).
So congratulation to them both and commiseration to Kev who is now the new Johnno.

Keith of the Year.
For the second time in living memory there was a tied vote for Keith of the Year and a secondary vote was called for.
Webby and Dirk slugged it out trading sly glances and pseudo insults while the rest of us wrote down names.
The most common name written down turned out to be Webby's and we all drank out final Kokatahi beer to congratulate him.


While a more detailed report will come soon, I just want to give a big thanks to Andy Norton for arranging the bus, Scotty for providing the trailer, Andy McGill and Trouty for doing the driving and getting us there and back safely.

As you know, Kokatahi looms. Trout has 15 names down with a couple of maybes to travel seperately Friday night or Saturday.

You have until this Thursday to make your FINAL commitment about going. Don't piss about and miss this opportunity to punish your liver without any remorse.

If Sonny Phil can go, then you can go.

The Rules

For Keith of the Year.
You may vote for yourself
You may not vote for a previous winner
You must vote for someone physically on the trip

For the Ashes.
At least One Ash holder from last year must be there.
The Ashes must be on display 1 hour prior to competition start.

For the Ride Over.
Be nice to Trouty cos he'll cut you like the bitch you are if you're not nice.

As you know, the Keith Trip to Kokatahi has done a Moses and is written in stone.

Friday 24th August - Sunday 26th August

As ususal, we'll be meeting at Keasty's at noon. For those who don't own a watch, that's when the sun is at it's zenith in the sky.
We'll have a couple of tasty beverages, get issued with Tour clothing and get names ticked off lists and shit prior to leaving in a rented van precisely at 1-00pm.

To confirm your place in the van, you need to by Saturday 4th August
1. not be a wimp
2. inform Trouty you want to see his balls
3. pay $25

The accomodation cost of $80 will be paid on Friday 24th at Keasty's. (covers 2 nights accommodation in Kokatahi)

Bring your own refreshments for drive over !



Keith 2012 Prizegiving

This year will be different from the last few years wherein there will not be a sit down dinner to accompany the Prizegiving.

Instead, there'll be an informal drinks and nibbles session interspersed with shouts of 'He paid the judge!' as the prizes are awarded.

Saturday 8th September at the Bealey Speights Alehouse 3pm till 5-30pm.

Families most welcome to attend.

Food provided, discounted drinks !


Following the Prizegiving the big match All Blacks v Argentina 7-35pm from Wellington will be on the giant tv's for your viewing pleasure.
