With injuries taking their toll on the boys and players being forced to play out of position, Trouty put the question to us is it better to play this Saturday and suffer more injuries and not play the best guys in their best positions or to default and rest those who need resting and to use the time to drink some beer and eat some food.

It's a serious issue to default a game and not one to be taking lightly, even where there is beer involved.

Ultimately, the default option was taken and we adjourned to the Keith Pavillion at 3pm precicely and commenced having a damned good time. We didn't even mind when the ladies team came in and started taking off their clothes and getting their towels to have a shower.

As usual, some Keiths stood out more than others and some Keiths got their fathers to beat up fellow Keiths and one Keith brought his girlfriend but most Keiths were simply Keithly and enjoyed the great banter and the beers. Except for Kev.

The vast majority of this seasons regular Keiths players turned up and it was great to see.
Thanks to Boydy for bringing the bbq and cooking the sausages and to everyone else who brought food. Much appreciated.
