Last year was a huge record breaking year. This year, no quite so much, but that doesn't diminish the effort those below have put in.
Nowdays not many rugby players even reach 50 games for the same club so it's great to have these guys in our team.

WILLIAMS Kevin 47
HERRIOTT Stuart 97
HUNT Leyton 174

   HSOB RFC PRIZEGIVING ANNOUNCED

   Monday, 15 July 2013

The Club have announced prizegiving date and location.

The 2013 Polar Bear Prizegiving will be held Saturday 10th August in The Big Room @ CBHS
Tickets $30 or 2 for $50
Includes: Buffet with 3 meats from Stu’s Smokin’ BBQ followed by entertainment from the Ayr Street Band
More details to follow soon...

Not sure how they worked that date out as Classics is still playing that weekend (we have the bye I think) plus the final the following week so maybe we no longer count.

response from the Club after queries from Keiths and the Women about teams still playing on that date.

due to rep rugby commitments post-season & poor turnouts previous years decision has been made to hold prize giving bit earlier. Shouldn't affect teams that are still playing too much- they'll hopefully be celebrating wins that day too!

   FUNDRAISER FOR CLUB MEMBER

   Friday, 14 September 2012

I'm not sure if you are aware that one of our junior members has been battling cancer since January this year. His name is Lachie and he is in one of the Under 6 teams. You may remember the first Div 1 game of the season where Lachie presented the match ball for kick off at Linfield.

Anyway, there is an opportunity now for the club to support a fundraising event for Lachie, please see the attached flyer relating to the event. Pretty simple really, all they are looking for is people to go to the movies next Thursday and enjoy themselves with the ticket sale proceeds going towards his Lachies pending treatment in Sydney.

If you could attach the flyer to the club website as well as e-mail all members on your Club data base that would be fantastic, I'm pretty sure with the work already done to advertise the event as well as a heard of Polar Bears entering the fray they should be able to achieve their objective to fill the cinema.

The details regarding tickets are on the flyer.
